At Metalico, we take pride in giving back to local charities, organizing fundraising events, sponsoring youth clubs and sports programs, and supporting environmental initiatives. We participate in local golf tournaments and charity events as a way of promoting community togetherness.
We're very proud of our ongoing collaboration with St. Agnes school. By partnering with educational institutions, we help promote awareness about the importance of recycling and sustainable practices. Metalico has also organized fundraisers for meaningful causes and have met with elementary school environmental clubs to discuss topics like waste reduction and recycling. We believe that by educating the next generation, we can inspire a culture of sustainability that will benefit our planet in the long term. One of our proudest moments was hosting girl scout tours at our facilities. Our team members dedicated their time to teaching the scouts how to identify different types of metal and explained how the recycling process works in practice.
